In light of https://discord.com/press-releases/discord-launches-teen-by-default-settings-globally about defaulting every single account to “teen” settings I have spun up a TeamSpeak 6 server for us on our own hosting droplet. You can download TeamSpeak here and join our server here.
Absolutely barebones right now but it’s a start. Additionally, please join our Steam group and our Telegram group.
And of course we have the new website along with these here old school forums as well.
But the most important Discord alternative we’ve found is Root. Root is a direct Discord competitor and it has a great feature which imports a Discord server template into it which automatically builds all channels, roles, and permissions. Content doesn’t transfer, however, but everything is all setup over there. You can download Root here and our server can be found here.
I’m not sure Discord is going to survive this transition as it’s extremely invasive about obtaining PID for every user to prove one is an adult so it’s important we have this infrastructure in place and we get everyone properly registered on it.
