Our History
The 47th Legion was founded in 2007 by a group of U.S. Army soldiers who shared a passion for gaming and the camaraderie of military service. What began as a small group of friends playing together has grown into a lasting brotherhood that spans nearly two decades.
Why “Legio Fulminata”?
The historical Legio XII Fulminata — the “Thunderbolt Legion” — was one of Rome’s most storied military units, serving from the late Roman Republic through the Byzantine era. We adopted this legacy as our own, carrying the standards of discipline, loyalty, and excellence into the digital battlefields of space.
